Life is like a voyage on the sea of history, often dark and stormy, a voyage in which we watch for the stars that indicate the route. The true stars of our life are the people who have lived good lives. They are lights of hope. Certainly, Jesus Christ is the true light, the sun that has risen above all the shadows of history. But to reach him we also need lights close by—people who shine with his light and so guide us along our way. Who more than Mary could be a star of hope for us...

Twenty five years ago, God’s love started the Community Cenacolo and initiated a continuous journey of hope! We began the first steps of this adventure trusting only in God’s love, and the hope that we had in our hearts grew and was confirmed as we witnessed the fidelity of God.
Faith in Him has kept the flame of hope alive within us, which has become service through small, welcoming, and loving gestures each day.

The missionary is in the heart and roots of every believer, it is a commitment, a calling, an urgency written within our faith. “Woe to us if we do not evangelize”, remember that our actions speak louder than our words.

The possibility of doing good is in itself such a great reward that nothing and nobody in the whole world can give us anything alike, as beautiful and rewarding: no money in the world, no bow of people, no clapping of crowds…….can give us the same joy that we find in living good and we have the immense fortune of being able to do it, what a “nice story!”.

However they are actually the poorest people because the true wealth we need comes from an encounter with God. The seed of hope is in each of us : we wish a better future, healing, good health, peace: particularly now, at the beginning of a new year, we feel in our hearts the wish of a better future. Being true missionaries above all means “imitating” Jesus. The true, great missionary of the Father was Jesus: He sacrificed himself; he left his divine nature and dressed himself in our poor human nature suffering exactly like us with fatigue, hunger, persecution, humiliation… First we must believe that the source of Love and Life is Jesus of Nazareth.
He gave himself for us and he did it with liberty, joy, courage, and a lot of love.

The old year is just over and we are ready to live a real novelty , so we must no longer be the same as yesterday! Woe to us if we don’t take the love of God seriously.. we are the world for His sake , and we can live a full and true life , without compromise , but we must also be able to suffer a bit ' , if not good does not win and life fades. Jesus told us : "He who loses his life will find it again"! !Let’s try to donate , even just a smile , but with a clean heart , without seeking reward , so we will begin to enjoy a new quality of life.

But God continues to trust us because He is interested in us , loves us and builds a future that is new every moment !

It is important to think of Our Lady as a woman who is genuine and transparent, and has nothing to hide. In the Comunity we have proposed the Truth: to say and be told the Truth. I think Our Lady gives us this example: she is the genuine woman, free and transparent who can speak and speak to everybody. She is a girl, she was a girl like us: she did not know that she was chosen by God our Father and who knows how she lived this; we imagin Our Lady always praying, but it’s nice sometimes to imagin her preparing the meals for Joesph, feeding baby Jesus and holding Him in Her arms.

No words can describe what we experienced on top of the hill of Saluzzo, celebrating the 29th anniversary of the opening of Comunita Cenacolo. We had four days of intense prayer, catechesis, Eucharistic healing service, skits, testimonies, and a great biblical drama at night...

Eucharist, God's great gift to humanity!
We would all love to receive mail, we all would like to receive a letter. Well, God knows our longing to be loved, to be remembered, our desire to enter the mystery of life, the life that sometimes gives us so many problems. God knows, then He has pledged to send a "letter" every day! Let's remember, the Word of God is the "letter" of His love and He sends it every day.
Woe to us if we got used to it,we would lose the flavor of life and everything else, including the beauty of human relationships: the others will never be able to fill our thirst for love!

Holiness is a path, is a dynamic existence which brings concrete fruits. Holiness becomes love, commitment, you lose your life to let other people know God’s love. Holiness is not an abstract concept, bit is a real meeting with Jesus, which becomes serving hands, running feet, sighted eyes, giving body and blood: it is worth living that way, because it is not only you that lives but it’s Christ’s life that resides in you and gives itself to others.
Cheer up! Let’s try hard, do not waste our time: if you really want to know who you are and know all gifts you have sit in front of the Eucharist and you’ll discover everything.

Finally I have a moment where I can recollect my thoughts and write a little about what happened over the weekend. I do not even know where to begin, because the emotions are so high. The joy is so great, and what I saw over the weekend was so beautiful. The presence of Mother Elvira, Father Stefano, and our sisters really made the weekend memorable.

I finally take a moment to write about our Lent Retreat at Camp St. John. What a weekend of prayer, emotions, joy, and tears. I think we had almost 300 people for the retreat and more for Sunday. It was so nice to see the parents spend so much time in prayer, kneeling down before the Blessed Sacrament...

Being true missionaries above all means “imitating” Jesus. The true, great missionary of the Father was Jesus: He sacrificed himself; he left his divine nature and dressed himself in our poor human nature suffering exactly like us with fatigue, hunger, persecution, humiliation… First we must believe that the source of Love and Life is Jesus of Nazareth.
He gave himself for us and he did it with liberty, joy, courage, and a lot of love.

When she arrived she greeted us saying: „ I am happy for the gift of life and feel the desire to have it grow and expand beyond all limits“ and she invited us to greet one another saying: "I am glad that you exist!“

Lent is the special time that draws us towards the heart of our Christian faith, the moment of our salvation: the Easter Triduum of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection. Lent is also the act of immersing ourselves in the universal suffering that Jesus suffered, in the pain that He embraced as He loved. In this way, has become the instrument of salvation for all of humanity.

Yes, He has really risen!
A new walk starts every year: it’s a time of grace, a special time made of conversion and healing. It’s the Lent that makes us ready for Easter, the heart of Jesus’ story, the most important moment in His life.
This “strong “ time, forty days long ,reminds us of the people of Israel’s walk to get to the promised land. Jesus enters that ancient Easter and renews it ,that is to say He frees man from the chains of sin.

My dear friends,
We wish to inform you that on Thursday March 24th at 3,30 p.m. Sister Piera “returned home” to the arms of the Father who rushed to welcome her.
She passed peacefully, here in the Mother House in Saluzzo, surrounded by the boys who have lived close to her as “ Guardian Angels” during the last months.

We are walking towards Easter, towards the heart of our faith: Jesus died and rose again for us. Let us get on our knees before the Cross and bow down before him asking for the gift of a compassionate heart, able to be moved before the Love of a God who has given everything for us. Let us be moved before Jesus as He is moved by us: when we suffer,when we have trouble, pain, anxiety, fear, He looks forward to taking it all upon Himself.

On March 25th 2011 exactly on the feast of Annuciation the “ Missionary Sisters of Resurrection” became one year old. It was great joy to celebrate our first birthday with H.R.R. Mons. Guerrini who celebrated the Holy Mass in our convent.

By encountering the forgiveness and mercy of Jesus, they have been able to forgive themselves, forgive those who wounded them, and ask forgiveness of those whom they harmed. They have discovered that their life is truly a gift, which has purpose and meaning. Risen Jesus is waiting for us!
Let’s celebrate because Jesus’ Resurrection is the great feast of life. Without His victory on death we would have never met, we would not be here. Easter Vigil is the greatest, most joyful, brightest night of our life and of all time, the highest moment in history :Jesus leaves the grave, His life wins over death and sin! The youth in our Community really wish to sing, dance ,be happy and celebrate life even in the labour of their walk towards light: maybe they do not know why yet, but they have guessed something , they have seen something already!
