Bishop Patrick O’Donoghue celebrated Mass for the Cenacolo Community, Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs, England in aid of the renovation of the derelict barn.
The boys of the Community were joined by Friends and supporters from the various prayer groups, etc., around the country.
Bishop O’Donoghue will retire in just under two years and promised that rebuilding the barn should be a gift to the Community before then. His great hope is to see the barn in use before that day.
The Bishop offered the Mass for the work which remains to be done.
Two of the boys gave testimonies and the Mass ended with a Blessing of the barn itself and, finally, with the Bishop making a generous personal financial donation to the ‘barn fund’.
