Dearest Friends,
We are happy to finally announce the “birth” of the new house in Alabama (USA). On February 25, we became the owners of a beautiful hous e with land close to the well known monastery of Mother Angelica. It is a very peaceful and tranquil place. The wait for this new house in America was very long and required a lot of patience, but we couldn’t be happier for the house because there is a long list of boys ready and waiting to enter in our Community.
Our new house will be called “Our Lady of Joyful Hope”, a name chosen by our dear friend, the Bishop of Birmingham, Robert Baker: he is overjoyed to finally have a house in his diocese. The “official” opening of the house will be on March 19, the feast day of Saint Joseph, and the celebration with friends and neighbors will be Saturday, March 20!

We want to thank everyone for their prayers that accompanied us on our search for this house and for the Providence that gave it’s “seal of approval” to help us get to Alabama.
We also want to give heartfelt thanks to God, because, as always, He is faithful to our desires and in His time He accompanies and resolves every situation. We want to thank Mother Elvira for her trust in us, and also thank every single one of you who, with your prayers, sustained and illuminated us.
