 Thanks to the availability of Mother Elvira, Father Stefano and to the hospitality of the Sisters and Brothers of the House of Formation, the girls of the Cenacolo Community, from March 8 -11, were able to live an unforgettable encounter of "the Missionaries"—those girls who, having finished a certain period of their walk in Community and who are responsible for various feminine fraternities, have decided to stay on in order to lend a hand to other youth in difficulty.
One of the many themes touched upon during this encounter was rediscovering the beauty of being a woman, knowing how to love and to how give life to everyone, how to overcome human limitations that sometimes emerge and are manifested in forms of jealousy, laziness, and the search for self. Most of all they were days of very profound prayer, a lot of silence and sincere sharing of what each person lived, illuminated by the Word of God and the by the talks given by Mother Elvira and Father Stefano. In particular, the Way of the Cross and the communal Eucharistic Adoration were moments of prayer lived intensely. The Lord filled the girls with a lot of joy and trust so that they could continue, renewed with enthusiasm, in their walk of service. The young women returned to their fraternities with the will and the energy to transmit to their sisters the beauty of becoming women who are true, clean, interiorly free and lovers of life.
