 Dear Friends
On Sunday September 13th we were very happy to celebrate the ten years ‘life of our brotherhood “Virgin of the Divine Providence” in Lourdes. Many people were there: we wish to thank all those who came and those who were close to us in prayer.
We first looked at the photos which “tell” the story of the house, then there was the performance of the “masks” dance followed by a testimony and by a really beautiful Eucharistic Adoration round an altar placed outside and surrounded by a wonderful nature.
The families, friends and all of us thanked Jesus and Mary His Mother for all the graces received during these years. Each of us was given a small sheet of paper with the shape of a little mask and on it we wrote the difficulties and the addictions or dependences that are still present on our walk t owards truth; then we put them in a small basket before the altar and offered them to Jesus and to His Merciful Love. It was a strong moment which touched many hearts. We also remembered those who were here before us and contributed, thanks to their sacrifices, will and faith in Jesus, to make this house what it is today: a beautiful and warm place full of peace.
We would also like to thank “our “Bishop, Mons. Jacques Perrier, from the Diocese of Tarbes-Lourdes who celebrated the Holy Mass in the afternoon. With his presence he witnessed his affection for us as Father in faith and the support of the Church to our Community.
The day ended with a moment of prayer at the Grotto all together, to say an immense thank you to our Lady and to Mother Elvira who accepted to be a tool of God to save us. Thank you to life ,to Jesus for all the miracles performed during these ten years here in Lourdes, in this beautiful Comunità Cenacolo!
