 A heartfelt thanks to our friends from O.F.T.A.L. of Cuneo for having been able to participate in the annual pilgrimage of the sick to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes with a group of youth and consecrated of the Community.
The opening Mass was celebrated by Mons. Giuseppe Cavallotto, Bishop of Cuneo, in the church of Saint Bernadette. This year a big group of adolescents, accompanied by priests from the cathedral of Saluzzo, participated in the pilgrimage, seeing as this year is dedicated to the little Visionary who, notwithstanding her young age, knew how to live a profound and courageous faith.
Following in her steps we participated in the Eucharistic and Marian processions. After a wait that was long and fille d with prayer we were able to immerse ourselves in the pool as a gesture of purification, finishing our trip at the feet of Mary at the Grotto, experiencing her maternal tenderness, and giving comfort and peace to all.
We tried to commit ourselves in the service towards our suffering brothers but once again the Love of God surprised us, because that which we received through their love and their patience was an even greater gift that enriched us.
