Anniversary in England

The fourth anniversary of the fraternity “Our Lady Queen of Martyrs” was the agreeable occasion in which to welcome within the walls of our house the future Bishop of the Diocese of Lancaster, SER Mons.  Michael Campbell, who the first of May will take the place of the dear Bishop Patrick O'Donoghue, who has recently come to pay us a visit at Saluzzo.
The Holy Mass of Sunday, presided by the Bishop, was the conclusion of two beautiful days of prayer and festivity, lived by the guys of our English fraternity together with the parents and friends coming from all over the United Kingdom. They were two days passed in the light of adoration, the rosary, sharing and mutual listening. And thanks be to God the weather, normally rainy, wished to lift our spirits with lots of sun in a serene blue sky.
We thank the many persons who have prayed for this meeting, because the “breath” of the Holy Spirit was felt in a strong way, and He has led us to discover God’s mercy and the calling to a true and deep forgiveness to receive and give to those around us.
Let us entrust to the intercession of Mary Most Holy and Saint Joseph our presence in England and the future of many youth and many families in need of help and love.
