We have spent a very intense week of prayer, truth and Mercy ,surrounded by the heavenly landscape of Certosa di Chiusa Pesio ( the Certosa is a monastery), which helped us to live in communion with God and to see deeply inside of  ourselves.
All this happened from February 22nd to February 29th 2009 and we were more than 130 young people from all the European fraternities. We came to meet Mother Elvira and the “heart “ of the Community, to recharge our batteries with the joy, enthusiasm, cleanliness and depth we need to put in our lives and in our services in the several houses.
We have also had the very pleasant surprise of H.R.R. Mons. Guerrini ‘s visit :he is the Bishop of Saluzzo Diocese and during the celebration of Thursday’s Holy Mass he made us feel more and more “children” of the Church.
St. Paul’s story and writings inspired strong sharing , catechesis and prayer moments . We felt him deeply as our “brother” for the way he lived his resurrection and salvation and for the change of life that followed his meeting with Jesus.
We thank Mother Elvira for her catechesis and for the moments of joy we have lived together. A special thank you to Father Francesco Peyron and to the Missionaries of the Consolata for the true friendship they show us any time they welcome us among the walls of their Certosa.
