Prayer to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque
O Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque,
you who were chosen by God
to reveal to the world
the divine beauty of the Heart of Jesus,
His infinite goodness, His limitless mercy,
and His radiant light; allow that we, like you,
might lean our lives on His heart.
Heart of Jesus,
pour out the abundance of your love
over sinners, that they might return to you,
over believers, that they might live in you,
over missionaries,
that they might testify to you,
over the sick, that they might heal in you,
and over the dying,
that they might abandon themselves to you.
Give me a good heart,
sincere and available to always help,
capable of loving and suffering,
of forgiving and rejoicing,
and of living every moment of life
as a huge gift
of your infinite love.
Heart of Jesus,
fountain of Charity, of Peace,
of Truth, and of Hope,
I trust and entrust myself to you.
