Prayer to Saint Bernadette Soubirous
Amongst the humble and simple,
who are your chosen children, Lord,
You chose Saint Bernadette
and you gave her the grace
to see the Immaculate Virgin,
to speak with Her,
and to become a divine testimony
of Her love for us.
Grant us, Lord,
that by her prayers
and her intercession,
we might follow faithfully
the path that you indicate for us,
so that we may reach
the promised happiness
and true joy of the heart.
Give us a simple and poor
heart like hers,
capable of total abandonment
into the hands of the Virgin Mary,
the Immaculate One.
Saint Bernadette,
pray for us!
