Prayer to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga
Saint Aloysius, poor in spirit,
to you we turn full of trust,
to you, the “pure of heart”,
free us from all worldly slavery
and from every wrong passion.
Do not allow that the youth
fall victim to hate, drugs, and violence.
Help them free themselves
from the selfishness which is blinding,
and save them from the power of the evil one.
Make purity of heart their testimony.
You, apostle of charity,
obtain for us the gift of Divine Mercy.
Make the youth able have the courage
to go against the grain
on living their lives
to build the Reign of Christ.
Together we invoke Mary,
Mother of the Redeemer.
To her we entrust our souls and our bodies,
every misfortune and difficulty,
life and death,
so that everything in us, as it happened to you,
may complete the glory of God,
for all ages to come.
Amen!
