Prayer to Saint Juan Diego
You who were a poor indigenous Mexican,
were chosen by Our Lady of Guadalupe
as an instrument to show the world
that God loves everyone.
Make us too learn to show to the world
that God loves everyone.
Make us learn to see the presence of God
in every brother’s face.
You who received this message
from the Virgin:
“Do not torment yourself for nothing.
Am I not here who am
your dear Mother?”
Help us to live in freedom from every worry
and to entrust our lives serenely
to the hands of Mary Most Holy.
Protect and assist our lives,
so that we can keep our eyes fixed
on Jesus, the way, truth and the life.
Saint Juan Diego,
pray for us!
