Prayer to Saint Leopold Mandic
O Saint Leopold,
docile instrument of the infinite
Mercy of God
in the sacrament of penance,
obtain for us the grace
of going to confession often and well,
to be able to always have a heart
that is free from the weight of sin.
You who were an image
of the goodness of the heart of God
for sinners, make that my life
can give testimony
that God is a good Father,
and rich in Mercy.
You who during your life
nurtured a tender love
towards Our Lady, our sweet Mother,
and were exchanged with
many favors, now that you are happy
next to Her,
pray to her for us until she looks
at our misery
and shows us that she is always
our merciful Mother.
O Saint Leopold,
who always had so much compassion
for the suffering mankind,
come in our aid,
do not abandon those
who are in a desperation
caused by sin, but bring them
to the heart of God.
