Prayer to the Blessed Francisco and Jacinta Marto
Our Lady of Fatima, you chose Francisco and Jacinta,
two poor simple shepherd children
to announce to the world
the desires of your Immaculate Heart.
Help us to welcome your message of conversion;
so that free from sin, we might live a new life.
Blessed Francisco and Jacinta,
you who were capable of such an intense prayer,
make the moments of our daily prayer
become the heart of our day.
You, even though only children,
were able to offer big sacrifices as a gift
to the Virgin Mary for the salvation of sinners,
help us not to waste our small everyday crosses,
but make them precious offerings
that are pleasing to God for the salvation of the world.
Our Lady of Fatima,
for the intercession of the Blessed Shepherd Children
Francisco and Jacinta,
keep vigil over all the children of the world,
especially those who are poorest and abandoned.
Help them to find,
in your Immaculate and maternal Heart,
refuge and protection.
