Prayer to Saint Dominic Savio
Saint Dominic Savio,
young saint capable of love,
you were great in friendships of your companions
and in trust towards your parents and educators.
I entrust to you all my friends and the people dear to my heart
with whom I live.
You said it would be better to die rather than sin,
help me to keep my mind, my heart, my body, and my life
clean, true and free from evil.
Teach me to find the right words,
authentic actions and radiant gazes
that manifest to everyone, as you did, goodness and truth.
Allow that I might feel always loved by God,
who knows how to choose what is best for me
and that the Virgin Mary might always accompany me
every step of my walk.
I thank you because you have shown me the path to holiness
and I know you will help me to follow that direction every day.
