Brothers and Sisters Missionaries

"The Dedicated" who embrace religious vows

Belonging to the core group, the Brothers, lay or religious, and the Sisters of the Community commit themselves to the radical choice of following Jesus Christ in the service of poor, embracing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, obedience and service of the poor according to the Rule and way of life of the Community.

These represent the mainstay, the heart, the living strength of the Community. Even though they are in the same place, they live independently. They celebrate the Mass together, and share moments of prayer and catechism. Their day is filled with moments of theological and biblical formation from listening to the Word of God, adoring the Eucharist, reciting the Rosary and Liturgy of the Hours, to moments of sharing, revision of life, and daily work.

This communion with the Lord and with each other is the culmination of the charitable work which the Community performs in the world in the various day-to-day realities of poverty and marginalization.

With their life of sharing and unconditional service to the poor, the Dedicated desire above all to be a concrete and living sign of the love of God the Father for the marginalized and the outcast. Through breaking bread with the poorest of the poor, they are able to taste joy, to walk, to grow, and resurrect with Him.

Their service is brought to fruition with the changing and growing of those whom the Community welcomes because they themselves become the leading characters, the announcers and witnesses of the salvation of the Gospel.
